Krautfest 2009!
A New Baltimore Tradition
Growing in popularity every year, Krautfest is now a two-night affair. On Friday, January 9, and Saturday, January 10, Gertrude’s celebrates the release of its homemade sauerkraut with a big party! Featuring dancing and live polka music with the acclaimed band “Joy of Maryland,” the evening includes a full buffet and a cash bar offering “Krautinis,” seasonal German beers, and specialty vodkas.
Tickets are $30 per person in advance, or $35 at the door. Last year Kraufest sold out a week in advance, so don’t delay. Tickets are available for purchase in the restaurant, or by phone at 410-889-3399.
Valentine’s Day Aphrodisiac Dinner
Saturday, February 14
Gertrude’s will celebrate Valentine’s Day with its annual Valentine Aphrodisiac Dinner. Choose either a three- or four-course prix fixe menu, both full of romantic ingredients. Dinner reservations are required, and it is recommended that you make them as far in advance as possible. Call the restaurant or visit our web site for more information and reservations.
Tuesdays with Gertie—As featured on Rachael Ray’s Tasty Travels, Gertrude’s continues to offer the best deal in Baltimore every Tuesday evening, serving $10 and $12 entrées from the regular dinner menu. Also available are specially-priced $18 and $24 bottles of wine. This is a very popular weekly event, so call ahead for reservations!
Wine on Wednesdays—After 4 p.m. every Wednesday evening, all bottles and glasses of wine are half price. In addition, BMA Members receive their usual 10% discount!
